My 2 year BMW warranty runs out to day (15/6/06), i'm going to ride it tomorrow and see what happens !!!

I hope it performs as it has done for the 2 years and 9000 miles that i've had it, pretty much faultless, and great fun

I p/exed mine for a 1200 GSA the day after my warranty expired (15,000 miles) - One day was stressful enough!

I would not have wanted to pay for any of the Final Drive / Gearbox / ABS pump which had been done under warranty.

I'm just hoping that the common glitches are sorted on the latest builds...

Was/is there a pattern that these failures followed?, i.e. were they mileage related, or were they just random failures, it would be interesting to see how all the faults on various bikes occurred.
