Hi - one for the watch gurus -

When a watch spec shows a measurement, where is that measurement taken? Across the widest part of the case? the dial?

This is a 44mm watch -

would that be internal lug to internal lug, or total width where the lugs go, ala external? My thinking is it's internal?
