Anybody used or got sonic comms equipment ?
I noticed they used it on LWR and LWD but appears cheaper than autocom..

Any reviews / thoughts / pro's or cons ?

Ok,

I am just waiting for a call from one of their sales reps cos on the site.. It appears very reasonable when compared with autocom.. We will see.

That looks cheap
If its anything like their other/older kit its damn good. At one time they moved heavily into the militay/covert equipment supply and didnt really supply the retail/ bike side. Wonder why the change back?

I am tempted to order one just to see how it works, well obviously would need two, but for that price doesn't seem bad at all....

Sent from my gadget using wires n string n stuff
Does seem VERY cheap for Bluetooth comms. The Sonic website is very poor though, so can anyone comment on:
a) How big is it? Does it look like a carbuncle on the side of the helmet?
b) How does it fit to the helmet?
etc etc
Up to now, I have been trying to convince myself to get a couple of Sena SMH10R's as they are much less bulky than the SMH10

I have enquired and the unit is not on their site, it is via a PDF which I was sent and the price is £250 for the rider to pillion unit with 2x headsets.. Then an extra £29.95 for the battery unit to power from the bike

You sure - I can add it to the basket and get to checkout.. haven't taken plunge yet but seems to be available...

Sonic kit is what police forces use...they're based near to Birmingham airport.... not the wireless stuff though.... and generally as has been said the pricing is through the roof... good kit though ;)

Always enjoyed my trips up to Birmingham to get new helmets fitted out....there used to be a little treasure called Julie in the office....well worth the journey! Mind it was 25 years ago....she's probably a fat old Birmingham wifey with half a dozen coffee coloured kids now......

The 6 Rider Interphone is made by an outfit called Yuony Moto in China. They seem to sell on to wholesalers who then market the stuff themselves. It would appear that the 6 Rider has been superceded by the G6 now, so I am guessing that Sonic are selling off old stock, priced to shift.

On reflection, I am inclined to bite the bullet and buy Sena stuff, as you can readily get spares/accessories
