I believe It was written for Android first then ported to Apple devices.

It works very well on Android, well at least the paid for version does anyway. I have never used the free version so can't comment on that.

So, can someone tell me how they use it and how it makes matters better/easier? if it an alternative browser for the likes of Safari on an iPhone?

I use it to track the threads I've 'participated in' for one. It's an option in there. Also I'm in a few forums sand tapatalk facilitates that nicely too.

I paid for it yonks ago but never use it. Couldn't seem to get "read posts since last visit" on any of my forums. That's all I need.
