Just picked up 07 GSA in Germany late last week and rode it home... nice bike... but now the fun stuff..

What can I do to it... exaust, fueling etc

Suspension settings.. where's a good place to start etc...

Any other tips from you seasoned riders...

Thanks :thumb

How about leaving it alone so when it goes wrong BMW cannot wriggle out of the warranty:augie

I agree enjoy maybe fit some panniers other wise leave stock

YUM YUM

Just Fecking ride the thing! (or of course sell it and buy something more powerfull?????)

Must admit I've always had an aftermarket can on every bike I've had. Not going to bother with the GS, the stock one is good looking and sounds just fine IMO.

Ignore the doom and gloom merchants and just ride the thing.

A nice set Keihan or Remus down pipes to get rid of the horrible restrictive cat will give a small performance hike and a nice note from the standard end can especially on overrun, very addictive!!:thumb2

HID`s are also a good addition if you ride in the dark!

Enjoy it, it`s a sensational bike!! :bounce1

Rim tape and neon down lighters............sweet :thumb2

Thanks for the input guys...

I haven't sold a bike in the last four years with under 30k on the clock.. this one won't be any different :D

The cat is in the Y pipe? So is it just the down pipes that have to go or are we talking an end can too?

I do like the sound of that burble that yea get on the overrun:thumb

I've got just the remus downpipes and a std can and that works fine for me:thumb2

A small hole drilled in the lh handguard will let water drain whilst parked on the sidestand.

Set the front spring to its softest setting ,and the rear between 3/4 to fully hard for great road handling keep an eye on the rear damping setting as it tends to need a tweak every few thousand miles. This of course all depends on how chunky you are, if yer a lightweight these settings may have you bouncing about a bit:D
