That's the point, are you happy to put the 'minimum' spec into your engines whilst spending the rest of your hard earned on bling?

Nope. I just use whatever happens to be on offer. I paid for a service along with the clutch being replaced in feb and chap who did it put in a 10w/40 semi. Don't know what brand it was.. don't particularly care. When i change the oil myself i usually go for a 15w/40 mineral. manual says thats fine. Just looked at whats left over. SJ.

Should I worry because SJ wasn't even thought of when the manual was written?

maybe not.
