help a few nice GS in for sale section not sure what to buy.
Clean yellow 1150 31K plus a few extras not all service history but very clean
A 1150 with lots extras adv seat/screen/lights etc 61k both about same price

Really wanted an adventure but not on my money does the milage matter that much? The 61k has more history any comments or thoughts.

Unlessanyone has a 1150 with 2000 miles for 3.5K then i will take that

Ask yourself, 'could I ever love a yellow bike'?

Many people buy a Std 1150 and 'Adventurise' them with a bigger tank etc. at a later date by trawling through 2nd hand parts.

Hmmm - depends on the "few extras" on the yellow bike. If they are useful ones then it makes sense to go for something with low mileage - which means worn out parts are replaced later rather than sooner. Plus, the Adv seat is not that brilliant for comfort IMHO. So go for the low mileage yellow bike and bling it at your leisure
