I went to the bike show on monday and saw an enduro bike that had been all round the world and was just about in one piece. Anyone know what it was or got any pics?

Yes I saw that..it was someone called Simon who had been every where...charity thing but I think he may have been killed but the charity continues!

I could be wrong so if you're still out there alive and kicking I appologise now!

I don't know what the bike was but the front mud guard was sewn together!

If I remember correctly the bike was a bitsa made to Simon's own specification becuse he couldn't find anything commercially that met his needs.
Respect to the man :bow
His loss should be mourned by every GS-er coz he was a real hard-core traveller who tried to do some good for others on his journey.

yes :bow
no pics but they are on the website mentioned in the previous post.a Rotax engined bike ;)
i noticed on the stand some pics of the road of bones
and the crumbling wooden bridge ,seen on the long way round!
This guy was there years before the filmstars

And crossed it by jumping the gap on his bike on his own and bugger the consequences ... he was a one off.

Sadly missed by all who met him.
