Whats the score on tyre repairs these days

Picked up a puncture last night 50 yds from my house. Anyone know if this can be fixed or is it a new tyre I know on a car you can if its in the central section, not too sure on a bike.

Plug it and then ultraseal the tyre.

I had a tyre like that with 30miles on it. Did the above and lasted another 11,000+

ah ok, I did think about that but I thought they were a temporary thing.

Whats the ultraseal, is that like slime that goes in the tyre?

I did the same as above, job's oxo.

Just plug it - forget the ultraseal.

In fact you can just add some rubber glue and screw in the self tapper thats already stuck in the tyre.

out of intrest, is there a rule which a tyre shop would stick to, IE middle 60% or something.

In the same place as your screw, and this is still on the road. At one point it had 5 plugs in the one hole.
