About 1.5 inches of snow overnight in the south of Glasgow.

The car is useless on the standard tyres, wheelspin at tickover in second gear

Not a hint of the white stuff at 6 o'clock yesterday evening, by 7 we had an inch on the ground and a power cut which plunged the place into darkness and meant no internet or telly so we turned instead to Ms Cheek's guitar and the wind up radio.
