Wondered if anyone can give me pointers with the following
I got a slight bend to the outside of the front alloy wheel rim, no paint damage, no air loss and no vibration. Probably caused by pothole but I cannot recall it happening.Tyre fitter pointed it out to me in May this year.
The fact the gloss finish on the rear wheel looks rough after 18 months despite being cleaned the same way with the same products as the front has prompted me to look at having them refurbished as tyres are due a change as well
Locally, there is a very good wheel repair and restorer. Used him before for car wheels and he has given me an excellent price to strip & re-coat both wheels and repair the front one. He will need bare wheels
Can anybody advise about the following:
Are the front wheel bearings easy to remove?
Are the bearings and seals reusable or would they need replacing?
Are the disc bolts / RDC sensor ring bolts reusable?
The RDC pressure sensors - Are they easily removed / refitted ?
Do the RDC sensors need calibrating / coding afterwards?
Thanks
