Just reading the "cast wheels poll " further down the page and want to know is there a definitive replacement wheel/model to go for if I want to go to alloys on an 1150gs

There is a specific thread that you will find in the GS Mods section that tells you everything you need to know.

But in a nutshell (and what I did) get 1150RT wheels

Then you'll need a RT speedo drive and RT rear wheel bolts (they're a slightly different length to the GS ones)

Then everything else (discs, ABS rings if needed, disc bolts, front axel, front right-hand-side spacer) you take from the original GS wheels.

It's easy peasy.
