I've got first 2 weeks in September as holiday I fancy bike/camping (to keep cost down) possibly meandering to Gibraltar & back. Any better ideas, organised trips, must see, must avoid?

I was planning a lap of France visiting a few friends but have had to postpone.

The route would take in the Champagne region, Vosges mountains, Alsace, Burgundy, Ardeche gorge, Cevennes to Gorges du Tarn, Milau, Rocamadour then north via Limousin back to Normandy.

Apparently the weather in SW France has been pretty good according to the friend in Rocamadour and some others travelling the Pyrenees.
