WHICH 1150 AFTERMARKET SCREEN ?

MRA for me too. Not too keen on the looks of the thing but it does seem to work. If I'm not going too far or if I'm going offroad, I take the top bit off but on longer runs I opt for the full on barn door.

At some point I'd like to try tobinators with just the lower part of the MRA, anyone tried this?

OK Guys (and ladeeeeeze)

read all the stuff posted here and like the look (and the price) of the MRA screen. BUT, how does it compare to an adventure screen with Tobinators. Better? Worse?. What do you reckon. I've got the standard screen with tobinators at the moment, but want a change.

Post replies!!

I've got the Adv screen with tobinators, which is a vast improvement on standard Adv screen ... But I still think things could be better, and I reckon an MRA screen is the next thing.

I tried a Givi (approx £80) and available at most BM dealers. It made my trip to Interlaken on a 1150GS bearable. We had to do a high speed dash on Frence motorways as we had only 1 overnight stop before Intelaken. I am 6'1" and it worked OK for me, I could not stand the noise with the stock screen.
The Givi retains the standard mount so you retain the tilt facility of the original.

Try the adv screen with tobinators had a mra but never got it comfortable less buffeting but loud, i find the adv screen better but i am only 5'10" i run with it pulled back and low with mountings trimmed
