Hello, I recently relocated from Ipswich to Liverpool and would like some advice on which dealer to use for servicing my 1200GS. I've got the 12,000 mile service due soon. I seem to have five within about 60 miles. SSB being the nearest.

Previously used Cannons. Bit variable but I did get a nice smoked screen I didn't order.

Thanks
Paul

As an other-wise uninterested party, SSB seem to get very consistant praise on the forum. I've never used them for obvious reasons, but if their name sticks in my mind, they must have made an impression!

I`ve used Southport Superbikes without any complaint at all.

Also,I`ve used Roy Gardner at RGM - again, without complaint...top service.

SSB are official,RGM is independent.

Thanks Wizard and Tarka, and Lazy Paul all I can say to you is use SSB we are very nice people ( I think we are anyway). Call in for a coffe and I will show you round if you like. We have abour a 5-6 day wait at the moment so sooner rather than later. Take care and welcome to the north west. :thumb

Agree with Southport Superbikes, or Blue Bell Crewe

Either should be fine..... :thumb

Just bought a new R1200GS from SSB. Service from sales staff was good (well it would be - they wanted to relieve me of my hard earned cash ;) ), and service from the aftersales / parts dept seems first rate too! (Cheers Jim!!!).

So far so good guys.... miles better than the service I got from the main dealer of my last bike :spitfire

Have just travelled down from Cumbria to SSB. Very good, all the staff were more than helpful (sorry can't remember names) I would highly recommend them. I'll be going back for my next service.
