Still unable to get contours to show on my Quest. They are there on Mapsource and the file sizes are identical on PC and GPS

Yep - I'm zoomed right in and 'nowt there. Just called a mate who has installed the map - when he first turned his Quest on the contours were there but now they have also gone

So, is it us or a specific Quest problem?

Mine doesn't show the contours either. As you say, you can view them on mapsource, but not on the Quest. Not too much of a problem I suppose, it would be a bit of a 'mare trying to follow a piste that turned out to be a contour line :o . Not that I have ever followed the wrong road whilst squinting at a 2" screen in bright sunlight whilst at speed.:augie

Hmmmm, could it be something to do with the brown colour that the contours are displayed in causing a conflict so that the topo layer is not visible. Olaf, the author, says that if the respective file sizes are the same on the GPS and Mapsource then both the mapping and topo layers have indeed transferred

Have tried both "water" and "land" selections in map setup but to no avail

Sorted ....

... OK, so much for my wild theories!

When selecting the required map tiles I originally clicked on each individual one with the "map" tool. However this only selects the road maps and not the topo overlay

What is required is to select the "map" tool in Mapsource and drag it over the complete area you are interested in. You will then see each road map and it's associated topo overlay appear in the map pane .. like this
