Who's good for web hosting?

I'm about to start writing and building a website for the transport think-tank I run, but want to find a good web hosting company. I've used Fasthosts in the past, but their customer service is a little, er, erratic to say the least.

What would the assembled company recommend??

I've a dedicated server with tons of space/bandwidth etc and can offer a virtual host on it. It's only serving 3 tiny sites, unlike powweb etc which serve hundreds from one computer.

100% uptime since Jan 1st, 99.96% since the Jan before. Just PM if interested.

I've used Hostgator in the States to run several sites from over the last few years and never had a single problem.
