Who's ordered one then?

Looks like the Touring has just about everything at not much more than I paid for my Triple Black in May 2011. Almost all of the bikes at Intermot had engine bars fitted - are they listed as an option yet?
No word on dealer-fit options as of yet. I will post once we get them

Do you know what "Preparation for GPS Navigation System" actually means? Is it just the wiring for GPS, or is it the wiring, brackets and everything apart from the actual GPS unit?:nenau

I think it's the whole system inc. lockable mount. I recently rode a GT1600 and was able to attach my Zumo 660 in the mount it powers it up but of course won't have connection to the handlebar controller.

I think it's the wheel thing added on the LHS grip - allows manipulation of the GPS via wheel. :nenau

This is what you get less the nav

Does any know if Garmin can provide a firmware update so, a standard 660 will work with the wheel?

•Preparation for GPS – allows riders to install and use the BMW Motorrad Navigator safety and conveniently via the handlebars. Sounds like it could be more than just wiring. no good for other models of Garmins bar the 660.

Delivery date

Hi Guys,

I don't know what allocation other dealers have got for the year, or how long their waiting lists are, but I do know the situation here in sunny Tunbridge Wells.

We are taking deposits to put people on the list and are prepared to refund in March when the demo arrives, although I can't see anyone not liking it!! At the moment we have bikes available in April, but all our March bikes are sold.

If you are thinking seriously about getting one, would you rather be on the list for April or possibly looking at a 3-4 month wait like when the 1200 first came out?

Re the GSA, BMW have not confirmed that there will be one but that's not unusual and we have taken two orders for them already!

Hotline to my desk is 01892 506757 :augie:augie
