Heated seat and a REAL Cool Cover are a crap combination.
I had both on my Triumph and they worked very well together. The seat could get a bit hot if on full power without the cool cover. Why do you think they don’t work?Heated seat and a REAL Cool Cover are a crap combination.

Yeah, I had that on my Multistrada and the one from AliExpress does exactly the same job.Don’t buy the cheap one from Ali express, it’s cheap for a reason. The genuine article is expensive but it is good, very good.
In your opinion.No don’t . They’re shite![]()
Quite a few people have tried the cheap copies . They don’t hold the weight like the genuine article and are much thinner . But if you want to spend a five figure sum on a bike and then garnish it with shite then fill yer boots . It’s a free country. In your opinion.
I'm not paying £60 to put some cheap plastic on my seat to give a couple of mm clearance to let rain run out.
Maybe I don't carry the weight as others do.Quite a few people have tried the cheap copies . They don’t hold the weight like the genuine article and are much thinner . But if you want to spend a five figure sum on a bike and then garnish it with shite then fill yer boots . It’s a free country.
BTW , the Cool Cover is primarily designed to keep you cool in hot weather. There’s a clue in the name . It’s not designed as a rain dispenser![]()
I am hardly a Lardy Tosser at 12 stone. Even I have noticed the lack of weight support and the thing does become as flat as a pancake after one season, I had mine on the bike for two seasons and switched to a genuine article for this season, the difference is night and day.Maybe I don't carry the weight as others do.
Ive had both and the Ali ones do the job I want them to.
Because I tried it on a BMW R1300GS Adventure and with the seat on its highest temperature I could hardly feel any heat.I had both on my Triumph and they worked very well together. The seat could get a bit hot if on full power without the cool cover. Why do you think they don’t work?
There’s a lot that hardly ride their bikes. I have recently bought a 2022 R1250GSA with just 8000 miles on. I don’t ride anywhere near enough but my 2022 Rally Pro that I traded had 18600 miles on.I think a lot depends on how much and how you use your bike. If you only do a couple of thousand miles in summer you don’t need it.
Im down to about 12k a year now but when I did more and used the bike all year the heated bits where on from October to April.
I remember being in Romania for 10 days the heating was on full for 5 days due to wet, cold, windy weather.
Very glad I had them .
Mine is red hot on number 1 setting . I’m quite sure you can set the level of heat through the software using a GS911Because I tried it on a BMW R1300GS Adventure and with the seat on its highest temperature I could hardly feel any heat.
Perhaps the Triumph seat gets hotter.
Chalfonts ?Would use of said heated seat alleviate ones suffering from a dose of Farmers?...... asking for a friend.
