Ahhh Thanks for that Rob. I wonder if its just cosmetic.

I was hoping SW-Motech would do the job as I quite like the rubber inserts and the price is not too steep.
Not too far up in price are the Moose Racing units - ebay # 291673304626
Interesting that they say if you want to use these on a 1200 you need a spacer...

I've just put a pair of r1200gsalc ones on an r100gs they fitted like a glove!

Yes, I had a pair that I took off my 2014 GSALC when I put pivot pegs on it, so offered them up to the r100gs and they fit great.

The motobau footrests are proving to be too low and too far back on my 100GS. My heel interfers with the centre stand and my passenger has less foot space as well. I will use them on my 80g/s which won't have a centre stand or pillion pegs.

Given that the standard lc pegs fit I assume these sw motech will work? They can be fitted at standard height or 15mm lower.

I did.
They give you a tube spacer to put inside the spring, but its a little short so you can nip it up too tight and lock the peg, so I used lock-nuts.
