Hi there,
I'm on the scrounge for some information regarding my wilbers suspension. I purchased a set to lower the height of my GSA to standard GS height for two up riding with luggage about 190KG in total but now I want to set it up for a maximum of 115KG.
Has anybody out there got a set of wilbers standard GS height they use for solo riding? Could you please let me know of the spring size and strength, it’s normally written on the side of the spring.

Thanks in for you help in advance regards Andy :thumb2

My standard '04 R1200GS has Wilbers based on my weight with luggage or pillion, for fast road use. IIRC I specified 115KG when I ordered as I was 14.5 stone (plus luggage). I did ask for a half-inch lower height but suspect I got standard as the bike is the same height as any other 'vanilla' 1200. I have a 29.5" inside leg and can almost get both heels down, bike is 95% ridden as solo rider no luggage. Rear shock has hydraulic preload adjustment.

Front Spring: 46/46-55-185
Rear Spring: 59/59-160-165

I have no idea what these figures mean, but it rides perfectly for my weight and ability.

Hope this helps.

Regards Andy
