I hope so cos I am gonna rob Funners' off him when his back is turned this weekend.Does anyone know if the units for a 2007 would trandfer to a 2008 if I upgraded later.
Does anyone know where else to buy Wilburs Suspension from other than Every Accessories?
They don’t reply to emails or answer the phone. Loath to hand over that sort of money to an organisation that you can’t get hold of!
Thanks in Advance.

could learn a thing or two about customer service from EA (but then again BMW could learn a thing or two about customer service from Vlad the Impaler

Fitted them at the weekend - delighted. Now I don't feel that I'm about to end up under 250+ kilos of bike every time I pull up to a junction.

Ordered mine (50mm lower) for my 07 GSA over the phone from EA. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Asked me if I was member of UKGSER as I was entitled to 10% discount (how many other retailers would offer, rather than wait to be asked?!). Suggested delivery would be around three weeks, when in fact it was less than two weeks. Top service and highly recommended

No doubt BMW will tell me that I've invalidated the warranty.....
If you go for the Wilbers with the black springs, they look quite like the OEM shocks, apart from the preload adjuster (or rebound thingy if you have one).

Did it improve your riding skills so drastically?![]()
I bought a second hand set of Wilburs from a guy on this site. I have to say that they are great. TBH I've forgotten how the originals felt now (its only been a month), but I know there was a huge improvement (its much closer to my old GSXR).
My question is on dynamic sag. I'm only a light guy (75kg, maybe nearer 80 kitted up approx 11 1/2 st), but I struggled to get enough dynamic sag on the front.
I was aiming for 1/3 travel, but even winding the preload right back to nothing I only got about 1/4. Is this normal, and should I be winding some more on (as I say its been a month since fitting, so I forget the details, but I don't remember there being a huge effect over the last few turns of preload)?
For info, the spring numbers are
Front 46/46-55-220
Rear 59/59-150-185
I gather that the numbers are the spring diameter (46/59 mm), compression rate (55/150 Nm/mm) and length (220/185 mm... Mine's a GSA, so these'll be shorter on a GS)
Is there anyone out there of a similar weight with Wilburs they bought for themselves who can check their settings? I think its just the spring rate that's important. (Oh and the numbers are printed on the side of the spring itself)
Anyhow I'm pleased with how the bike is feeling, but just wondering whether I could make it even better.

One does one do about protecting the rear shock?
