will 1150 shocks fit a 1200 gsa

Has anyone tried to fit 1200 shocks on an 1150 gsa or vice versa,
The reason i ask is i have some top spec white power shocks which i took off as the dealer wanted the bike standard,
i now have an 11 plate 1200 gsa no esa and the shocks seem similar,
it tranformed my 1150 so i thought i would give it a try before selling them,
it is still under warranty so i am looking to fit them permanently if they will next year,
no point keeping them if its a no go,,, any advice appreceated,, roamer

1150 shocks won't fit a 1200 so get them in the FS&W section

Well I did a bit of research, and found that the 1150 gsa suspension will fit the 1200gsa !!!
The white power spin front runs at 9 mm shorter which i could spacer the top mount to full height,,
and fusion rear again 9 mm shorter, they were origionally a lowering option for the 1150,
I didnt want to let them go as they are nitrogen remotes and dual rate compression damping, and a big improvement over stock shocks
the spring rates are 50 front and 140 rear the same as the 1200,
its in for a service next week , so when it comes back i will try them on and report back on ride height fit etc,,
