Will I never learn?

So whats it going to be Rob! and how much?:augie

Nothing fancy at all Lynn, it's going to be a basic clone but with the 1000 bevel box and RS engine - I love the look of the basics but I'm not a fan of the 800 engine. I'll be taking the RS cam out and fitting a 308° one so it'll be a tractable engine with high compression.

My PD's getting to the stage that it needs some TLC so as soon as this bikes done I'll take the PD off the road.

Great stuff Rob - looking forward to seeing this progress :thumb2

I'd love a bike lift but no space in my single garage (at least not if I still want to be able to get to the lathe and workbench  )

Same problem here. I wanted a full size lathe but couldn't fit one in. I've got the small one mounted on the wall so I can still park a bike underneath it.

My bike lift has paid for itself with reduced chiropractor bills :D The lift and the bead blaster are my 2 favorite tools -both the best China can produce :augie :D

Bit of spannering tonight. Golden opportunity to use some of the spares I've got laying about.

Has anybody got -

1/ A Mono/Early Paralever headlight cowling.
2/ A Mono seat

Apart from that I think I'm good to go for the time being.

Rob
Did you get the headlamp cowling as a new part? I have searched long and hard for one.

I bought the rear 2nd hand from Motorworks for £25, they didn't have any 2nd hand fronts so I asked for a new one, apparently BMW no longer make them but Siebenrock have started to. Not cheap at £75 but when you need one you need one. The quality - looks just like the original.

I need to steal a headlamp from of one of or John Deere Gators. Fits straight in.

hi Rob hows it going?
i have got you a mono twinseat and some para stainless downpipes.:comfort

It's moving along nicely. The Corbins off my PD, just wedged on for the picture.

Just need

a silencer
100GS speedo
Headlight
Warning light panel
Spray the tank

I've just bought a Wilbers for the rear.

Then it can go for an MOT and hopefully get a log book. Then all be pulled apart and done properly.

I've told you, I've got a '72/'73 R60/6 that needs TLC, take you all winter to sort it ....
I'm sure we can come to some arrangement ....
I've owned it since 1978//

Lyn,

I've an immaculate 1985 R80g/s with genuine 12,500 miles plus PD tank ( all in white/orange/blue) and the bike has 1000cc Seibenrock barrels/pistons fitted. Polished wheels with s/s spokes front and rear and runs on Mikuni carbs and has the 320mm large disc to help it stop. Orange single seat and long rack with a set of Verns panniers fitted. But I'd want at least £2,200 for it. Just been MOT'd with new Sahara tyres fitted.
Just kidding:D

Is this a(nother) scrounging thread ?

Where can i send you some parts ?

Don't crash it or we'll have to buy you another :mmmm

:D

Cheeky fecker.

Pete keys and akwright have helped me out with parts. I had almost everything else or have bought what I didn't have from Ebay or Motorworks. I'm not asking for charity and am more than willing to pay the going rate for anything I've mentioned that I'm looking for.

I see the Aussie positive attitude hasn't rubbed off on you yet.
