Windows Media player 10

Since i have downloaded it , it gives me nothing but trouble with error code this and code that.
i have set my default to real player and am trying to delete the media player, but it wont leave. removed it from Add/Remove but although its gone in that section the Damn thing is still there.
Anybody got a sure way to tell it to P**S off.

it's likely real player that's caused all the problems in the first place.

real player is a notoriously nasty piece of software. WMP is a pretty good one.

if you need to play real .RAM files, i'd use Real_Alternative.

Is real player the one that puts up its own advert every time you try to exit it?

Yep - definitely get rid of RealPlayer - nasty piece of work in my experience. Sort of takes over your PC. Then reinstall WMP-10 and allow it to set itself as default player for all the file types, and you should be sorted.
