managed to get the correct autocom for my needs from chainspeed ....excellent service ,however can someone enlighten me on where to connect the +ve lead for it on my bike so i dont blow anything up or melt anything ?????

09 gsa and i've got basic wiring knowledge

Have a search for "headstock socket". Usually used for a gps, but I use the same type socket on my 650 twin to power my autocom.

The live is taken from the back of the aux power socket under the riders seat via the red/green wire. The earth is ran direct to the battery.

Which Autocom did you go for ? I fitted the Super Pro Auto on my 09 GSA last week. Bluetooth for the phone and an isolation lead to the TomTom. Put a bike to bike radio in a tailbag on the rear carrier.

got a pro logic only need ipod and to talk to passenger so didnt see the pont in wasting money i haven't got
