I have just bought a set of small Piaa spot lights to fit onto my GSA, BMW Piddcocks, told me when they did the wiring on my fog lights, not to connect to wiring behind the head light as it is to thin and will short out, blah, blah, blah.

My question for any one who knows anything about wiring up spot lights, what is the best way to wire up the lights to my main beam, I know I need a rely and I have a switch.
Regards Joe.

Joe,
If you are in town, I'm off tonight and tommoro night, call in and I can give you some ideas.

take a relay feed from the head light main beam and then take the spot light feed from the battery via an inline fuse, the relay to the spot lights. that way you are not taking any (or very little ) power from the head light cct.
