Your bike is worth by 2 grand from leaving shop. Stop worrying and enjoy the bike. I rode 3466 miles in two weeks , home two days now. Bike 23000.miles. 2014. It is like not shagging girlfriend to keep her in shape for the next guy. Gs/gsa owners are suffering from pcb buyers with low residuals.

It’s not the mileage, it’s the 46mpg that’s the give away, bike has been used hard ;)

46mpg isn't used hard, 22mpg on track is getting there.

Unless it's on a pcp, use it don't abuse it.

Used, but certainly not abused.

It’s a 1200LC.... its worth nowt whether you go over 10k miles or not!
(BTW I have one...over 10k miles.......)

Ride it, and enjoy it !

They want riding ....

Over 135,000 miles now! Paid £6.5K for it just ten years since ... had my monies worth already and still going beautifully :thumb

:beerjug:

Edit .... I might have mentioned this elsewhere :D

Resetting the counter, then riding in first gear for 5 seconds before taking the photo doesn’t count! :D

Do try it. My clock reading moves from 46/47 . Only dropped from 52 to 46 after chipped and still only hits 138mph on sat nav.

TBH, it was a bit tongue in cheek, as I'm not exactly known as a slouch within the bunch I generally ride with - something is responsible for the 4.5K miles I get out of rear tyres. ;-)

Same here fitted T/ next tyres 3 weeks back , covered 3466 miles house to house..Scotland weekend end of month, 1200 miles will see rear tyre done. Hearing of riders getting up to 8/10,000 miles, i do wonder if they are air miles.
