I've just fitted the x-tank on the XC. All good. I tried to connect the hose on the main tank top outlet (under the seat) but there is no space. Is a T piece needed which is not supplied?
I also have a scotoiler on. Has anyone fitted both the scotoiler and the x-tank? There does not seem to be enough room for both. Cheers & Happy New Year

Doesn't the breather from the main tank connect to the nozzle on the X-Tank?

IIRC i just removed the original black breather tube and connected the clear tube supplied with the Xtank straight onto the main tank breather, with no problems.

You can remove the breather and rotate it in the top of the tank so make it easier to get onto the breather hose tail if you need to?

According to the instructions you shouldn't need to do this. I've not tried rotating the breather so I don't know if it's possible.

IIRC all you need to do is undo the 6 screws holding the breather in the top of the tank, rotate the breather around so it lines up with the next hole and re-attach.

And yes i know my bike needs a wash :blast

xtank & scotoiler

I now have an answer on how to fit both the scotoiler and X-tank thanks to the guys at Vines. Pictures should be attached...
I am not sure how I will refill the scotoilier but I'll worry about that later. I really recommend the x-tank.

Why didn't you mount the scottoiler further down the frame so you could access it to refill it?
Down where the 2 cable ties are. That's where mine is mounted.

That was also my question to Vines who installed it... I should take it back. Oh joy... Maybe this should be in 'how not to do it' thread
