And of all places, in a bloody car park :blast

So, damage what I could see tonight is:

Slight scuff on RH-lower crash bar, and its bent ever so slightly inwards (can tell as there is a gap where it attaches to the section for the upper front part)

Scuffed the black plastic bit on the RH box

Weatherproof seal on RH box has cracked at the rear, closest side to the rear light. The black bit on the main box itself though, not the lid bit.

Also, the box doesn't quite shut properly now, and is slightly loose at the bottom when attached to the mounting frame.

Easy/cheap enough to fix/bodge you reckon?? The crash bar I know I can sort with some crafty hammering and such, but as for the box, not too sure... easier to just replace or...???

I'll have a proper look at it tomorrow though, see if there is anything else. It's a 2010 30th Edition GSA btw...

Nothing beats dropping your GSA outside a very busy Harley dealership, got me a round of applause though!

It's got to happen sooner or later :blast. The first drop is always the worst, next ones are easier to bear and are forgotten very soon :thumb I suggest to get the box checked by a dealer, if you need to replace it just look for a used one instead. Crash bar should be easier to fix, even with an independent garage.

Been there, done that (Electraglide standard) gone back to a GSA, Dave.

My mate dropped his Harlry outside a bar in Italy last year
2 women came sprinting over and picked it up for him

I nearly fell of my GS laughing

Loads of people went flying on the oil that came out of it

He ended up pulling one of said females :blast

Women and Harleys
what is it :duno
