Yes or No

A few scratches on the silver stuff and they will all be looking to have them wrapped! Its a large area not to get a ding at some point and then it's gonna sing :JB like a Canary every time you sit in the saddle and see it.

I for one like it Stevie, it's removable, will NOT reduce resale but possibly increase it due to the protection.

And why should it be the domain of every Harley to be customized?

Enjoy it and when you get fed up simply change it, a nice Camo pattern will look cool, sand color to match the beaches down your neck of the woods.

Nothing worse than parking next to an identical bike!

I quite like it, and have been thinking about getting mine done, but will probably got for a matte black wrap instead. Watch this space.:beerjug:

Horses for courses, not what we think its your bike.

If using the" bit may get scratched" excuse then get a baglux cover at least that is functional.

Perhaps it’s a trick of reflection but judging by the top photo (view from above)... whoever applied the vinyl appears not to have matched the pattern angle correctly between the two sides making it look a bit... well like vinyl, instead of genuine carbon.

As above, needs one side re doing, so the weave on both sides matches. :thumby:

Not for me...I just don't see the point in trying to make anything look like something its obviously not. Just a bit chavvy as well :D

Not for me... but I am seriously considering having the side panels painted the same blue as the BWM roundel with some silver pinstriping (bikes white)

Steve

Its looks smart fella and will protect the panels, I've done all my panels, silver bits, forks in 3m venture shield, and I'm having a work van fully wrapped from D-blue to white .

carbon fibre

:beerjug: Well, everyone to his own but I've never believed in altering the looks of a bike substantially. It's a nice job but I prefer the original.
It could be a trick of the light but it seems as though the others are right, it looks as though it is not matched.
Why don't you take off one side and then you not only do away with that problem but you'd have both the original and new finishes!:thumby:

I like.

I'm not too keen on the sort of greyish silver plastics. I think it should be black anyway.

I'm going to see if I can get it done to mine - or something similar...
Shamelessly copying you probably...

Although the OCD in me would want the angles of the pattern to match.

Not bad ..... :D A varied responce.
To be honest i always thought myself that carbon fibre or lookalike was a bit cheap on cars , I think the air scoops would have looked good ,in black ,but she couldnt get it to stick without cutting the wrap so it would have looked worse. As i said I like it and if i get bored i can take it off or change it.
Anyway thanks for the comments :D:thumb2
