I've worn Arai for donkey's years, but attracted by the flip-up sun visor (my morning commute takes me straight into the sun so I tend to wear a dark visor in and then have to swap for the home run) I went to my local H-G fully intending to buy a C3.
But the build quality seemed inferior to Arai, a bit flimsy - which seemed to be backed up by a brief review in Bike in which part of the chinguard detached itself and was never seen again.
And although the helmet fitted around the crown of my head the cheekpads felt loose. The manager offered to get one with the next size up pads, but I would have had to order and pay the £440 first. Although they promise a full refund if not happy, I decided not to go through the hassle.
I know helmets and their fitting are subjective, but would welcome views from you Schuberth owners out there.
