zumo 660 and sony erickson mw 600

anybody managed to pair this combo successfully, i have audio mp3 clear as a bell with no issues but turn directions and voice prompts are barely audible, sony unit is paired as audio, it drops and reconnects fine, volume is flat out on master and navigation, and the sony is paired as bluetooth headset and not headphone, also the 660 is the non bmw unit but it is sitting in the new bmw r1200gslc cradle mount, any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Such problems are bloody annoying, especially as the solution(s) can sometimes seem baffling. Have been there and got the t-shirt.
That said, I originally was using the Sony MW600 and it paired up with no problems. The volue was ok as well. My only issues where that the screen on the MW600 was impossible to see in any form of sunlight. So not really able to help you. But I do remember that I went into the settings of my Nav IV and adjusted the volue settings for both phone, media and audio. Worth checking.

I subsequently bought a pair of Sena SMH10R's as I wanted intercom with SWMBO behind me. Really pleased with it: easy to fit, no pairing issues and sound quality and volume all that I want. I actually use the earbuds from the Sony with my new Sena

just a heads up for anyone interested i sorted the issue out by using a bluetooth transmitter plugged into the audio jack on the side of the 660. all works good.
