that would be a bonus i suppose

I spoke to 4 BMW dealers yesterday and two had the 660 in stock, southport superbikes they are road testing one in Scotland at the mo and would not sell any until they had the all clear because some may have problems and want to make sure they are ok![]()
Thank goodness for them testing it I bet the R&D department at Garmin are waiting in eager anticipation for the road test from Southport, after all if its not a good report Garmin will have no other choice than to recall all the 660what a load of B*****ks

now spending 2 hours registering it and updating software !!
Also no product key (8 digits) on the back of the city navigator DVD so cannot unlock the maps.
It a real puzzle - connect garmin, download file, disconnect garmin, reconnect garmin, wait for unit to reboot, then instead of completing, it decides you need to start again, download software etc in a loop... Haven't found the key to breaking out of the loop yet.
Any clues?

You don't really need that unlock code anymore. You can connect the unit in Mapsource (or RoadTrip) and 'upload' the unlock code.
