Clocks!

Hi Folks

The clock on the 1150 has started to re set to zero when then engine is off and the fuel gauge gives a false reading. Any one have a cure?

check the fuses, mine did this also

although the fuse wasnt blown, pulling it out and back in cured the clock

I presume it had a dry contact

Yup. I had this also and it was the fuse. The clock must have a dual feed. One from the ignition and another to keep it going when the ignition is off. I can’t remember why my fuse kept blowing but I think is was down to the auxiliary socket having a short.

My clock always reset when the battery was low and the starter started clicking.
