The Skylift looks like a great piece of kit but the R1150GS (OP's bike, and mine) isn't listed in the fitting kits. Unless I'm missing something?

This seems to be going round in circles. Think i understand it right, Abba don’t list any pre wc gs as the swing arms are on the wrong side leaving no attachment for the swingarm strap that holds the bike level(or tilted). Now I’ve not tried it yet, but I’m sure I’ve read before that you can lift them but you have to find alternative positions for the swingarm strap. A pannier frame being an option.
I’m planning on trying my 850 on my lift when i can, but it’ll be a wee while yet.
