You can get a tinted screen as an option, but as standard they are identical to previous GSA's.
With regards to the gearing, I have gone for the "Enduro package" (Lower first gear and TKC's) Frankly, I cant tell any difference to the standard gearing of the previous model ....
Overall, having now done over 2500 miles, I can say that it is really, very similiar to the old GSA, with the exception of ESA , which is very, very good -
Traction control will probably turn out to be as useful as the now defunct servo on the old brakes - I never needed traction and for the couple of times it has kicked in, I question whether it really needed to.
The '06 was a great bike and the '08 is a great bike, slightly more power and slightly better gearbox are both "nice to haves" rather than "must haves". I still love it and wouldn't swap it for any other bike on the planet!
