My wife is 5' and a 'lickle bit' and reckons she isn't a dwarf, but it is in fact very close !
I often remind her in the UK at least a classified dwarf is an adult 4'10" or less. She hates the word midget and finds it offensive, so 'my beautiful vicious little dwarf' is occasionally used...but only as pet name to pacify her when she can't reach things. Or when the driver's seat is left too far forward for a person of 'average height' (ie 6 foot +) to try and get in after she's been driving it.
