I'm happy with the engine on mine as is, more than enough horses for me.

BMW should concentrate on improving the quality of finish and reliability of the mechanicals and the comfort of the saddle rather than joining in the power race. I suspect that yet again BMW will rely on their customers to be test mules and complete the development process.

There are plenty of blinkered muppets happy to do so.See a few posts above .....

I’m waiting for the first electric GS, the torque will make all internal combustion engines feel pathetically weak :D

.... and you will probably be able to enjoy for up to 100 miles (if you ride it gently) before a lengthy recharging pause. Sounds great for touring!

Won’t buy one until they can do 200 miles and recharge in 20 mins or less :)

I have a TFT Triple Black GSA that Hilltop have breathed on so matches my competence perfectly. Any more power and I wouldn’t be able to use it. The TFT and Connect don’t work properly, so perhaps a built in SatNav would be an improvement, but my Navigator 6 makes up for that and I don’t want the early adopter issues all over again with the next model.

My panniers, Sargent seat, Akrapovich, big screen and other fettles all moved flawlessly from my previous bike. I wouldn’t be surprised to find the frame, screen etc are all different, as they haven’t been change for some time, so most of the fettles I like wouldn’t migrate.

I think I’m going to sit this model change out and enjoy the bike I’d always wanted to have.
