Can anyone tell me what the length is if the last welded piece on the collector box is please? Not the total length from the box just the last welded piece, it looks about 50mm,but i need to know for sure.

The price you describe is not welded it's formed see attached photos
The length is 43mm. The photos are from a new collector box

It’s brand new and never fitted

Bought it a few years back on a trip to Germany, as no stock available from Bmw at the time. Was going to replace the rusty one on my PD
When I removed the rusty one was able to salvage it to get a few more years from. For the price I paid it's been a better investment than bitcoin
