I recall reading posts on here about first service costs in excess of £100.00 so I was a bit apprehensive about taking in my F800GS this week...

Just wanted to give a big to ASTLE Grimsby for carrying out my 600 mile service for the princely sum of £41.85.

After trying to get 600miles in last week it had got quite cruddy and Astles even gave it a complimentary clean before giving me it back... a litle bit of light in all the gloom

Bahnstormer in Alton gave me the same treatment + a couple of tweaks thrown in for about the same, (with as much tea and munchies as I could cram while I was waiting!), excellent customer service as always

Had to go down south a couple of days ago to pick up my 800GS. Arranged to hire a Sprinter van ...... was thinking I'd use my trusty old builder's plank to load/unload the bike Richard the service advisor offerd me free use of the dealership's purpose made aliminium bike track thingy!
Not only that, his staff unloaded the bike for me on my return .....! and I enjoyed a freebie cup of BMW coffee into the bargain!
