2 Litres of oil in 200 miles!!!

Does it really????? How very strange!!!. Couldn't read manual as was at work, manual was at home. If I'd had it would definitely have read it. Subject closed I think... Dont you!:comfort :augie

Should get it back tomorrow hopefully, sort of miss not being out on it:likeit
Just spoken to Bahnstormers and theres a valve in the exhaust controlled by a servo and a few electronic bits I dont understand, which needed synchronising, which apparently has been mis synchronised since i got the bike, so anyway bought some oil as well just in case

Can anyone arrange for it to not rain this afternoon so I can go see what its like when properly synchronised/running???

see y'awl,

Does the synchronization only work in the dry then?

2 litres in 200 miles - I don't believe it, unless you have a puddle of oil underneath the bike, it just ain't gonna happen.

You are not reading the level correctly - simples

Mr James dont be so bleedin pedantic You know perfectly well what i mean, and anyway even if it did rain id still ride it cos im not an airyfairy poncy summer rider, I even rode my bike in the snow, err just quite slowly and carefully. although M25 in the snow at very early hours was mildly scary!!!!!

Sorry for the piss taking, hope the bike was ok and have fun :thumb2

I think the sight-glass is a fine idea. But I'd like to punch the tw@t who decided to move the filler cap to the opposite side of the bike on the 2010 models... :rob

I'm at a loss to think why having the filler cap on the Right hand valve cover is likely to cause any issues??
Perhaps you can enlighten us?

Perhaps you can enlighten us?

As it's often the pre-courser of enlightenment, let's use our imagination.

Go and put your bike on it's centre stand.

Now remove an imaginary filler cap on the offside pot.

Now imagine pouring an imaginary quantity of oil into the imaginary hole.

Now crouch down to see how the imaginary oil is causing the level to rise in the site glass.....

Now, like Homo sapiens, arise from the crouching position and walk around the bike....
