2011 R1200GSA slight misfire

It is the Atcam sensor linked in one of the other replies here
Yes, that’s the one that’s discussed. The lad that does them Ivan is so helpful and not in anyway trying to push the sensor in fact the opposite. He was listing off lots of things for me to try before buying one.

That buys a lot of credit with me.

Mines still giving the occasional splutter when you come to a stop.

Dam, was hoping this would solve, I’ll continue to see how it behaves over coming days.

Bike is just so nice on the go, that’s a couple of hundred done on the twisties today.
get hold of ethanol free fuel - the difference is huge - none of the air cooled boxers landed in the european mkt with a map or engine tune designed to cope with joke fuel

today it looks like esso sold me some 99 octane stuff without ethanol and its like riding a different bike - strangely still remember how ethanol junk brought a lot more recalcitrance - but seems many have forgotten.....

the difference in rough running is all in the <3k rpm <10% throttle area - then 3.5 to 5k rpm >75% throttle is where you should notice its got a fair bit more grunt

👍
Yeh, I put 32ltrs of 99 Exxon in yesterday so let’s see how that goes.

not well publicised but what fuel reaches what petrol stations varies across the UK - much of the fuel turns up as a base blend fuel. Less well understood the magic happens as its pumped into each different Forecourt - here specific mixes of additives go in as its pumped into which ever Brand station they deliver too

Much of west berks gets its fuel for Shell or Esso stations from the Exxon facility at Fawley Hampshire via the Petroleum Storage Depot (PSD) near Padworth and Aldermaston in West Berkshire, operated by Exolum Pipeline System Limited

When E5 first came out much of the UK (except places like wales and nearby) was really all E0 - because there wasn't enough death fuel to go around.

Sadly Exxon expanded Fawley death fuel production and by 2025 the whole of the UK could up the % of the rubbish in all our petrol. At the time Esso updated their websites to remove the explanation that most of its 99 octane fuel had been E0. Changing to say something like death fuel content has now increased to an ave of 3% but stated it can be from 1% to 5% and it varies because it depends what they can be bothered to do on the day

and unless impacted by Donald's criminality, I don't know why I managed to get some decent petrol for the first time in years when I was in Burnham Bucks yesterday

If you have a GS911, can you not run the datalogger function & record a ride with splutters,

Having all values avilable might give some clues
