2026 CB1000GT

1. I expect better weather protection from a sports tourer and that engine/ header etc is going to get awfully scruffy very quickly.

2. Hate the huge silencer, and the very narrow r/h pannier.
I’d have to change them.

otherwise..

I like it.

BTW
Those clips of him riding through the bends look really dodgy, no smoothness or finess, just correction after correction.
So it's not just me; i thought there was a bit too much twitching; then i put it down to the 150mph posture all testers like to use in front of the camera. :D

He is riding a Honda and doing the best he can, better than a chinky bike but they ain't no BMW are they 😂

I thought he wasn't a smooth rider. And agreed on engine protection from the very short front mudguard.

I noticed that about his riding. Very choppy. I think it's because he doesn't want to go up the arse of the camera bike.

To be fair to Doc (and me and many others no doubt)....there seem to be very few people actually reading/looking at the pictures of MCN these days...you're their no 1 reader
I've been buying MCN for 25+ years, so that's 2 of us. 😉

I don't buy or read any bike mags anymore. So no I've no idea who that bloke is or probably any others tbh.
Any bike Im interested in I'll start to look for reviews mostly on YouTube from real time owners.

I've watched a few of the reviews of it now. It seems a great buy at £12k. Similar specced bikes...Kwak £14400, Suzuki GSX 1000GX £15000, BMW XR £18500. Get it serviced with Honda and get up to 6 yrs warranty. I'm looking for downsides to getting one when my NT1100 goes in Spring.

I am not much for the plastic boxes, the bike though does seem a real world answer for sporty touring rather than pretend adventure riding.

Graphics could be more individual though.
