2026 CB1000GT

I love my NT1100 DCT (2023), gets better with the miles. I must have a good one. Worth nothing second hand though so I'm sticking with it until the GT's come on the market second hand or something better comes along...
Same here I have 2023 Africa twin DCT no issues with it but im tempted by the GT for a change as I have had three parrellel twins.

Another positive review from 44teeth which surprised me to be honest
and another one that reported the throttle response was smooth so another bonus, just need to get Christmas out the way now !! LOL

Why the hell you'd make the side bits go so much further forward I don't know.

I’m not a bike designer , unlike many on here 😜
But a wild guess-something to do with aerodynamics and airflow ?
I think it looks pretty good .

Those Jap aerodynamics scientists really need to fly in a few 'average tossers' and realise that a couple of pointy bits that cut cleanly thru the air is like pissing in the sea and hoping the temperature will rise...when a fat bloke gets on the bike and rides off....

Well it’s all in the eye of the beerholder. But looks crashed to me.

Must say and its not just because ive got one on order, I think its a nice looking bike to be honest, the predator bottom fangs are funky !!

Can't really see anything to not like 🤔
Haven't seen it without the panniers yet. They look quite narrow. Not sure if a helmet would fit in.

Nice hearing them say throttling is smooth. The reviews and specs point to a very capable all round road motorcycle. Wind protection looks like it'll be good w/o being too much, 21 liter tank is enough, and it sounds like the suspension is very good.

It's the concessions Honda stylists (not engineers) made to functionality in the name of styling that bother me and likely most buyers who will be living with this motorcycle.

The left pannier is nice size but unfortunately the silencer is angled up too much for no good reason which reduces the right pannier's useful capacity by 9 liters. Speaking of panniers what's with the little gloss black panels attached to the lids? The trendy "pillion seat perched way up" continues which locks the rider in one position. Perhaps the biggest concession to functionality are the almost total absence of mudguards. The front is so minuscule that an extender, to be effective, would need to be larger than the mudguard itself. There doesn't appear to be any rear mudguard just a thin plastic extension to attach a license plate. Both front and rear of the motorcycle as well as the riders back will be covered in road spray and dirt from rain, puddles, or just grit from the road.

From Honda's promo film

Only pic I can find with a helmet in the side pannier. Same option as I have on the GS with the vario panniers
States only the left hand pannier will take a helmet but gives no indication of types / size of helmets

or....and I really don't like top boxes

Yep, the panniers will have to be swapped, maybe the silencer too.

I’ve seen in one of the vids, a front cowl around the downpipes.

Might work well with a fender extender

I believe all the Hornet aftermarket belly pans will fit the GT.

Ive ordered mine with the three packs, comfort pack, urban pack and sports pack, which has the top box the same as the NT1100 which i must say I found to be very useful the larger screen which sounds to be a must along with the Comfort seat, and other bits, the front mudguard, pannier inserts, top box insert, belly pan, all only available in black will sprayed it the same gloss red. once they are done ill have a look and maybe do the rad side pods and hand guard extensions to match
Ive already ordered a Ltr of the paint ready !!

Another decent report, Quite looking forward to getting it now, Had a call from Andy at Miles Kingsport ( A really decent guy from a very good relaxed dealership very highly recommended) to say that he has spoken to Honda and that My bike is one of the first in the UK because of when I ordered it, the jurno's saying 2nd quarter of 2026 is if you order one today ! The predicted date it will arrive is between the 2nd week of Jan to the 2nd week of Feb, he says it will be the first one in the country fitted with all 3 packs !! Woohoo LOL only three things I asked was does it have a miles to empty? Unlike the Transalp, does it have an outside temp gauge? Unlike the Transalp, and will it be fitted with the tyres everyone has tested it on, the Road 6s not the Bridgestone T32s none of the three questions could be answered at this point although I did see something on the net last night confirming it does have a miles to empty, just hope its got the Road6s as I do love them,
well only time will tell on all counts and delivery !!
I can also confirm the top box does hold 2 lids albeit on there side's as it was the same as I had on the NT1100, XADV and the ADV350
