Stop it now please...Change the colour, remove the pointy bits and it's a very similar silhouette , I'm looking from the side.
Seat and tank profile also similar as is the frame.

I agree, but if it was my only bike, I'd choose the GT as it is more of an all rounder. Long days of touring will be better with the faired bike. It’s nice . But the CB1000F is nicerer![]()
Well I think that’s a given and pretty obvious. But as it’s not my only bike and I have two other Hondas to tour on , I went for the F as I prefer the styling and wanted something for ‘Sunday rides’ and pottering around in BrittanyI agree, but if it was my only bike, I'd choose the GT as it is more of an all rounder. How the fuck is the frame similar ? The Fazer’s is tubular and completely different . You really should book in at SpecsaversChange the colour, remove the pointy bits and it's a very similar silhouette , I'm looking from the side.

That is very tidy; i'd hang on to that one.Looks nothing like a fazer 1000

It would be interesting to see the wheelbase; trail and rake figures; the power and weight are pretty similar as i would imagine pegs; seat and bars triangle; all the things that count for a stable ride; and 20yrs earlier; i reckon it would take a proper back to back to really separate them; perhaps the mk 2 fazer with the cast frame and fuel injection would be closer to the Honda in real terms, but the silhouette of all 3 would be pretty close. Glad to see the centre stand is not an optional extra i would have loved one on my SX 1000.You’re fucking blind then

In what way are they similar ?
The Honda has a completely different fairing shape and much fuller . Diffferent lights , totally different frame , tank shape etc .
Can’t really see any similarities apart from wheels being black and round![]()

If you remove the fairing from the Honda you might find they are more similar than you think. How the fuck is the frame similar ? The Fazer’s is tubular and completely different . You really should book in at Specsavers
Why not start a thread about the Fazer then as this is about the CB1000GT, not about a 20+ year old Yamaha ?If you remove the fairing from the Honda you might find they are more similar than you think.
Is the Honda's not tubular then??![]()
As would I have done, had I owned as many bikes as you do. The F is the looker, no doubt.Well I think that’s a given and pretty obvious. You can comment as you wish but you seem insistent on confirming that the new Honda is the identical twin of the ancient Fazer.Am I not allowed to make a comment about the CB1000GT (which this thread is about) saying I think it looks like another bike?
I made a simple comment about it and someone has got very upset!
It's getting great reviews and I'm sure Honda will sell loads but we're all entitled to our opinions.
Can someone confirm if the frame is tubular steel?
