2027 CBR500R

I wonder what percentage of presumably younger riders of this style of bike will specify it with an E-Clutch?
I don’t have any experience in owning anything with an E-Clutch, are there any owners of CBR650R etc. who have experienced it think it is something that fits in with the target for this type of bike?

Looks nice enough styling wise and manufacturers obviously think the nod to a bit of GP heritage with the front and seat fairing vents adds to the appeal for youngsters looking to style it out.

I wonder if there will be a level of resurgence for sports bikes similar to the 90’s early 2000’s.
I hope so, I enjoyed my time taking advantage of the fun to be had on them, although the roads and opportunities to make the most of them will never be the same as we were able to do.

It’s what being young is for 😀

It comes with the e-clutch as standard so they can’t specify it without one .
You can turn it off if you’re a Luddite, but why would you ? It’s like riding with an amazing quickshifter , the difference being you don’t need to pull the clutch in when you stop.
