Is there much difference between the two powers of HID's? :nenau

depends what you are using them on or in? the 35 is still a very good unit and smaller so easy to find space for :thumb2

It's to go on an 1150 GS. I still can't make my mind up whether to do both lights or just dipped!

Based on my limited experience I would start with a 50 dipped - make night seem like day. If you are still unhappy you can go for main.........:thumb2

I've just fitted one of Les' kits with 50w dipped and 50w main. It really is like turning night into day.

Sure the main beam takes a few seconds to "warm up" to full power, but it's still bloody fantastic.

I too have one of Les' kit and agree it's bloody fantastic.:rob

Go for the 50w. it makes a difference. The object of the excersize is to see and be seen, so SEE and be SEEN

Thanks Les.:thumb2

Parky.

for Les,s 50w main and beam, people are actually telling me they know its me ,because of the 50w
so if they are seeing you stand out that far you cant go wrong
thanks Les :flag

50w for 1150/1200

35w for F800GS - 50 runs a bit hot for the headlamp unit and can damage the reflective paint.
