Just had 18000 mile service, new brake pads all round, a Remus Y piece fitted, I supplied the 20/50 engine oil (as they couldn't).

Ok, this has probably come up before, but I was wondering if someone could explain this one : M*ll £320, Alan Jefferies £150 ish...??????

And before anyone asks, that is including all parts and fluids..

Whats the difference? M*ll have been quite good with me, so I am rather confused..

M1ll did the same to me at the 24k service, wanted over £450, AJ quoted £150 - £200 depending if pads etc needed replacing. M1ll reduced there charge when challenged but still didn't get down to AJ's price. I've not used M1ll since & don't intend to.
