Typical isnt it. Just as I come to sell my K its starts misbehaving.

The front right indicator doesnt come on (and off ;)) and so the rear starts flashing quickly. The other side is OK. Ive changed the bulb. Ive had the tank off and chased the wiring and cant see any tricky connections or bad earth, Ive shown it some WD40 in case of damp. I spose its down to the relay now??

If it was a dodgy relay, wouldnt the other side play up aswell? Any ideas what else I should try?

Electrics, not my strongest point.

Thanks for any help people. :beerjug:

They aren't relays as you know them. The later ones are all microprocessor controlled (Microchip PIC), earlier ones are a little cruder but still electronic. The left/right channels are controlled individually.

The traditional relay with a capacitor across the coil have long gone.

Any other electrical "weirdness" happening, i.e main headlight not coming on everytime type of thing.

The starter motor brushes cause weird electrical problems ( except starting problems:D ), as can the load shedding relay .

Nope nothing else strange happening (or not happening)

Might try another relay just in case. I dont want to sell it with a faulty indicator.

check

the first thing to do is see if you have a supply and a good earth to the bulb holder, either use a test lamp or substitute another bulb and holder.
